The firm has launched its own department dedicated to the world of data and new technologies. VILLA & Associati ‘s professionals offer judicial and extrajudicial support in managing needs related to privacy, Artificial Intelligence and data law.
The department offers support to companies in corporate compliance activities, leveraging regulatory aspects as a driver for business activities, in the development of Artificial Intelligence-based systems and in the inclusion in the regulatory framework outlined by the European data strategy.
Main activities include legal assistance:
- in the management of privacy and data protection (GDPR and ePrivacy) and AI (AI Act) compliance both domestically and internationally;
- in the launch of marketing initiatives, with particular reference to the establishment of CRM, communication through the use of call centers and Direct Email Marketing;
- during the development, marketing and post-marketing oversight of software and systems based on new technologies;
- in the compliance of platforms and websites, both in terms of transparency and operational compliance;
- in the proper creation and management of databases, containing personal and non-personal data, as well as their legal protection and safeguarding;
- in the drafting of contractual documentation relating to the marketing of innovative software and products;
- in the stages of administrative and judicial litigation before the Data Protection Authority and other Control Authorities;
- in extraordinary M&A transactions involving companies with significant impacts in the new technology sector;
- in the management of personal data breaches (data breaches) and security events involving personal data;
- in litigation concerning the management of personal data, databases, and damages resulting from the use of Artificial Intelligence systems.
